Kidz Church
Vision: To see each child:
Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it." We are excited to be able to minister with Children. We don't see them as the church of tomorrow, but the church of today. Each one is special in God's eyes, and we believe each one is capable of ministering before God in their own right.
Below is a testimony of a miracle that occurred at CityLight Church and demonstrates the power of prayer through children.
"Our 7 year old son had over 30 warts all over his hands. Some were even growing under his fingernails. As parents, we found it difficult to even hold his hands when we were walking down the street.
Our school asked if we could have them looked at, but our doctor refused to burn them off saying that he was too young, and would have to wait a few years before he would be able to treat them.
During a time where our church was praying and fasting, the Sunday school joined in as well. The Sunday School leader poured oil on his hands, and asked the children to pray for him. By the end of the 3 weeks he only had a few left. With one week, his hands were totally cleared.
I have no doubt that God uses the faith of our children. I've seen it personally. Praise God!"
