The empty tomb proves Christianity, but an empty church denies it.
What a great season to remember what Jesus the Son of God did for the people of the world.
He allowed His body to be broken so that we night be whole. He allowed His blood to be spilled so that we might be washed clean. The love of God was made plain thought the actions of His Son, so that we could be reunited with the Father from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That is why we should bow the knees to Jesus. He is the only door through which we can come to God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. But we must go beyond the cross and go to the resurrection from the dead for these things are foundation stones to the Christian belief. Indeed the Apostle Paul very strongly says that if there is no resurrection from the dead then our preaching and our faith are both empty. and if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile, and we are still in our sins. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable (1 Cor 15:12-19). But praise be to God that He has given us the Holy Spirit as a down payment of what is to come. (2 Cor 1:19-22).
And the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now dwells in our mortal bodies. Praise The Lord, and He will raise us up as He did with Jesus (Rom 8:11).
So rejoice and be glad for Jesus has won the victory. Hallelujah.
