The command has been given to every Christian to go out and make disciples. In Matt 28:17-20, we find that when Jesus appeared to His disciples after walking with them and teaching them for 3 and a half years, not only in words but also in demonstration, they still had difficulty in believing that He had really risen from the dead. Verse 17 says that they worshiped Him, but some doubted.
The “Go” therefore is plain and simple and does not need to be explained at all. We just have to be obedient in whatever way Jesus Christ has gifted you. With that gift we are to go out and to the best of our ability be doers of His word and the promise is that He will confirm His Word with signs following the preaching of His Word.
Let His Word be the mirror that we judge ourselves with (James 1:21-25). Let us never judge the Word by our experience only.
