Oh how time flies by when you are busy or you are really enjoying yourself. I am doing both.
Jesus was able to say, “So you have made ready this body of mine for me to lay as a sacrifice upon your altar. Then I said, 'See, I have come to do your will, to lay down my life, just as the Scriptures said that I would.'" (Heb 10:5,7).
So even through the tough times  of life we need to know our calling so that these things don’t phase us, but rather be able to say with our Saviour, “A body you have prepared for me to do Your will O Lord”.
And Jesus did it with joy and righteousness (Heb 12:3). this is what God the Father says about the Son in Heb 1:7-9 “Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You (Jesus) with the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” (read the 3 verses).
Jesus walked in all that God had for Him, both in the good times and the difficult times with joy always doing the will of God, i.e. “Preaching the Good News”, “Healing all who came to Him”, and “Raising the dead when the Holy Spirit so led Him”.
Can we purpose to do what Jesus did and pleasing God with our lives?
